Come live the legend!
Don’t miss the Medieval Rodeo when the knights storm Ingalls Park for a full contact Heavy Armor Jousting Tournament! Benefitting Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc., the Medieval Rodeo promises extreme action and family fun including sword fights, jousting, demonstrations, and rodeo clowns. This signature event by the Imperial Knights Production Company will raise funds to support the costs of hiring a PATH International certified therapeutic riding instructor and supplement the cost of lessons.
Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc.
Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. began formally providing therapeutic riding lessons to children and adults in the Inland Empire in 2000 and obtained its 501(c)(3) tax exempt status in 2001 as a public charity. The therapy program was moved from the City of Riverside to Mira Loma (now known as Jurupa Valley) in 2005 and became a full-time equestrian center for people with disabilities in 2008.
We are dedicated to improve the bodies, minds, spirits and quality of life of persons with physical and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses through equine-assisted activities.
How Does It Work?
There are physical, cognitive, and psychological benefits from riding. The lesson formats encourage riders to plan and execute sequenced activities that help them improve their information processing abilities. Instructors use props, games and exercises, so individuals with cognitive disabilities can learn to perform more complex and difficult tasks on horseback. Many daily living skills and basic education objectives are incorporated into riding lessons.
Tickets are available at the gate! Come to the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center Saturday October 21st, the ticket booth opens at 5:30 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM! See you there.

The Medieval Rodeo is returning to Norco for one night only to benefit the nonprofit Queen of Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. By becoming a sponsor of the Medieval Rodeo, you will help veterans and children with disabilities. Queen of Hearts is uniquely certified to support and aid a wide range of physical and mental needs, and they need YOUR help to make it happen! Proceeds from the Medieval Rodeo will support the salary for a PATH International certified riding instructor for one year and supplement the cost of 625 therapeutic riding sessions.
This fun, family-friendly event will feature a thrilling Heavy Armor Jousting Tournament, rodeo antics, bull riding, demonstrations, and more! We hope that you join with us for a one-of-a-kind “knight” in Norco!
